1) PROCUREMENT OFFICER (MALE OR FEMALE)
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Procurement Manager as well as assist him in the re-organization of the procurement office.
QUALIFICATION:
B. Sc or HND in Purchasing and Supply or related field
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7 years working experience in building and construction sector
Experience in complex works, services and supplies covering a range of commodities
Experience in establishing contracts/specifications with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability in applying these to day-to-day procurement activities and documentation
Experience in preparing, reviewing and agreeing technical terms & conditions
Experience in contract /purchase order management
Ability to locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet and, if needed, interview them to gather information about products to be ordered
Knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus.
Candidates with vast knowledge of procurement and store processes/procedures in the construction industry will be added advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
Previous working experience in a foreign company will be considered as a plus.
Good communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
