Lafarge Wapco, is a multinational and leading player in the building industry. We are looking for experienced t intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions:

JOB TITLE: MECHANICAL MANAGER (MML002)
Objectives

• To report to the Maintenance Manager and be summarily responsible for managing all maintenance operations in order to increase reliability factor, the efficiency and effectiveness of the mechanical maintenance team, and decrease the cost per tonne of production
Responsibilities

• Define procedures in the field and ensure they are implemented

• Contribute to/participate in the short/long term investment plans concerning the plant
Candidate’s Profile

• B.Sc or HND degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution (Minimum 2nd class lower)



• 6-8 years relevant experience in a process industry

• Good coordination skills

• Leadership and teamworking skills

• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Good knowledge of Engineering codes and standards

• Good knowledge of safety rules applied to maintenance

• Performance oriented

• Micro-data processing (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project. AutoCAD and vision,

• Not more than 35 years old.
