4 Vacant Job Positions in an Hotel

HOTEL VACANCIES
Our client, a new boutique hotel in lkoyi, Lagos is currently recruiting for the following positions.
1. GENERAL MANAGER - EXPATRIATE OR NIGERIAN
Qualification: MBA Finance/Accounts/Business Development and other relevant qualifications in Hotel/Hospitality Business Management.

Duties:
• Market and develop the business
• Relate with corporate citizens and regulatory bodies
• Direct and coordinate organization’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. ‘Provide management and direction to the Business office staff
•    Responsible for leading and coordinating the strategic planning functions of the company.

2, OPERATIONS MANAGER
Qualification: Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Business Management. Any other qualification,
Duties:
• The Operations Manager is responsible over the overall day-to-day operations in a hotel.
•    Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
•    Coordinate all procurement processes including suppliers and contractors.

3. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR:
Qualification: Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and other relevant disciplines.
Duties:
* Supervise the overall maintenance and repair duties on the interior and exterior of the hotel facilities including all Health, Safety and Environment issues, Telecoms etc.
* Maintain an equipment and machinery record system to ensure the security of the facilities.
4. MARKETER
Qualification:
• Minimum of B.Sc/HND in Marketing/Business Administration and any other relevant qualification.
•Minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Requirements for all positions:
•Minimum 8 years cognate experience In a 3,4” hotel
• Ability to speak and write English, knowledge of at least one European language would be an added advantage.
•Experience in dealing with expatriate clients
•Must have computer literacy and superior leadership skills ‘Computer literacy
• You must have the ability to maximize performance, b creating a positive and productive work environment and ensuring superior guest service in compliance with quality and operational standards.
•You must understand the dynamics of our local market place including key competitors and key business drivers.
