QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


Candidates must possess any of the following:
A.Chief Lecturer/Principal Lecturer/Senior Lecturer

i.A doctorate degree in the relevant field( s) from a recognised Higher Institution with at least 12/9/6 years Teaching/Applied/Industrial work experience

OR

ii. A masters degree in relevant field(s) from a recognised Higher Institution with at least 15/12/9 years Teaching/Applied/Industrial experience.

iii. Registration with a professional body.
B. Lecturer 1/11/111

I. A doctorate degree in the relevant field(S) from

recognised Higher Institution with at least 3 years relevant experience; OR


ii. A master’s degree in relevant field( s) from a recognised

Higher Institution with at least 5 years experience in Teaching/Research in an Institution of higher learning:

Iii. A good honours degree from recognised institution of Higher learning and professional qualification in relevant field(s) with at least 7 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience.

Except for the post of Lecturer Ill, all candidates are required to have published journal articles, seminar papers and books.
C. Technologist for Food Technology department must possess

HND with 3-4 years baking experience or any other food industry.
D. Senior Assistant Registrar


A good honours degree plus 9/6 years cognate experience.
SALARY

The salary will be as applicable to all Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.
