VACANCIES

Applications are hereby requested from suitable qualified candidates to fill the positions of CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER & LIBRARIAN/ARCHIVIST which exist in one of the financial insitutions with Headquarters in Lagos.

 

1.   CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

DUTIES:

•     Coordinate security arrangements at the Head Office and Branch Offices nationwide

•     Arrange security details for organized by the company

•     Provide effective liaison with security agencies

 

Reports Directly to the Divisional Head, Internal Audit, Control and Compliance

 

QUALIFICATION

•     University Degree or HND in related discipline

•     Must be a retired senior police/army officer of the rank of Superintendent/Captain

•     Not more than 65 years advantage

 

2.   LIBRARIAN/ARCHIVIST

 

DUTIES:

•     Design, implement and maintain a central filing and document storage system

•     Supervise and maintain custody of “live” and “stale” security instruments

•     Implement and maintain physical access control to archives and stores

•     Source books/Literature for the company’s library (including e-books/e-library)

 

Reports to the Company Secretary / Legal Adviser

 

QUALIFICATIONS

•     BSC in Library Sciences, M.SC will be added advantage

•     Not less than 7 years working experience in an established library/industry

•     Not more than 45 years of age

•     Good ICT skill is a basic requirement
