Job Title: SENIOR PROPOSAL & TENDERING ENGINEER
Job Objective: To build market position by locating, developing defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships develop and generate new business opportunities
The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Screen and propose, potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potentials, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities and making recommendations
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by examining risks and potentials and estimating partner or client needs and goals
• Close new business deals by co-coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
• Develop a commercial model and evaluation tools for new project launches
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to management
• Liaise with clients on new proposals.
• Liaise with personal of IOCs’ NAPINMS, NNPC or others that are necessary
• Oversee tender and proposal development process and maintain the time-line for the proposal terms
• Liaise with divisional heads and ensure that appropriate and timely inputs is made to technical bids
• Review prepared tenders (Pre-qualifications, Technical and Commercials) before passing it for approval and final submission
• Review procedures intermittently or as required
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. MBA will be added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in the Oil & Gas company
• Members of NSE, COREN
