The CORE Group
Partnership Project (CGPP) is a multi-country, multi-partner initiative
providing financial support, on the-ground technical guidance and support to
strengthen host country efforts to eradicate polio.
Job Title: Supply Chain Officer, MER
Duration: Full Time, Three month duration
(Renewable)
Band: C1
Reports to: HoU, HSS
Location: Abuja
Primary Functions:
The SCO, MER will generally work in collaboration
with the CORE Group Partners Nigeria team and the CRS Administration Unit to
provide strategic support to the MER Program Officer in managing the
commodities for the implementation of the MER project. This will be done by
coordinating the warehousing operations, stock management, distribution
planning, proper documentation and report.

Collage
up to date information about the status of all supply chain commodities specifically LLINs, ROTs, ACTs
and other suppliers
·
Prepare
the quantification of commodity needs for the MER project health camps
·
Ensure
availability of all commodities at assigned distribution points
·
Ensure
the appropriate logistics management data collection tools are available
·
In
collaboration with the program and technical staff, develop, implement and
periodically update a decentralised workplan
·
Ensure
correct documentation and the timely submission of all required reports
·
Conduct
monitoring and mentoring visits to the partner organizations in Yobe to ensure smooth
implementation of supply chain activities
·
Support
capacity strengthening, proving technical assistance, and develop standard
operating procedures for inventory management and other aspects of supply chain
management that will assure the quality and availability of commodities at the
health camps.
·
The
supply Chain Officer will also participate as a full member of the CRS/Nigeria
Program Department. This will include active involvement in all program
Department activities as needed.
Qualifications and
Skills:
·
Minimum
of a bachelor’s degree (preferably a health related field) from a reputable
university
·
Minimum
of three years work experience with progressive responsibility in
pharmaceutical, and/or supply chain management
·
Master’s
degree in public health or related filed will be an added advantage
·
Previous
experience working with donor funded programs will be an advantage
·
Knowledge
of the local languages in Yobe
State , Kanuri and Hausa,
will be an added advantage
·
Knowledge
of the local terrain in Yobe
State , will be an added
advantage
·
Proven
ability to work remotely as part of a team and to work independently
·
Cultural
sensitively, patience and flexibility
·
Willingness
and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to Yobe State
Job Title: Strategic Information Officer
Reports to: CGPP Secretariat Director
Band: C-1

Primary Function
The Strategic information officer will be
specifically responsible for

Project
management

Project-wide
data gathering, storage, analysis and dissemination

Coordination
of project-wide monitoring & Evaluation
·
Partnership,
representation and networking

Capacity

Any
other duties as may be assigned by the secretariat Director
Specific Job
Responsibilities
1. Data Management
·
Provide
technical assistance to partner organization in data collection, collation,
analysis and dissemination
·
Develop
relevant data capture tolls to ensure Polio and Routine Immunization(R) data
from the focal states are reported to the donor in good time
·
Develop
milestones and targets for the project logical framework
·
Assist
the Secretariat Director in the revision and update of project milestones and
targets as may be required from time-to-time
·
Analyse
and interpret all Polio and RI related data
from government and partners
2. Reporting:
·
Oversee
the development of appropriate reporting templates before sharing with the
secretariat Director
·
Support
effective documentation and dissemination of project results
·
Coordinates
and oversees the smartphone server to ensure data therein accurately gathered,
collated and disseminated
·
Support
the secretariat Director to ensure timely reporting of project results and
outcomes
·
Assist
the Secretariat Director in preparing monthly, Annual or other relevant reports
3. Surveys:
·
Provide
guidance to the project on the best methodology and approach in the conduct of
relevant surveys
·
Provide
technical assistance in the conduct of the relevant assessments in the focal
states
·
Support
CGPP and the National Polio Eradication program in the conduct of surveys like
LQAS etc
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities
·
University
Degree preferably in statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or
related field
·
Master’s
degree and equivalent experience in epidemiology, demography, sociology,
psychology or other related social sciences
·
At
least 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E
development projects implemented by national/interpersonal NGOs/UN
bodies/Government
·
Thorough
familiarity with the principles of and field experience in current approaches
to monitoring and evaluation for development and emergency response programs,
using both quantitative and qualitative methods
Job Title: Sopprt Manager, Core Group Partners
Project
Band: D-1

Job Responsibilities
A. Program Management
·
Monitor
target achievement across all CBOs in Yobe and Kaduna States ,
determine and provide to ensure target achievement
·
Engages
partners to craft from strategies using the SIA calendar, annual and quarterly
work plans and quarterly reviews
·
Coordinate
and mentor the LGA coordinators (LCS) to ensure that CBO staff to ensure they
reach clients in mapped out areas including hard to reach areas
B. Budget Management
·
Responsible for managing the
implementation of the CBO budgets. Coordinate the cash forecasts and
disbursements for all CBO activities in line with approved work plan
·
Develop
milestones and targets for the project logical framework
·
Assist
the Secretariat Director in the revision and update of project milestones and
targets as may be required from time-to-time
·
Analyse
and interpret all Polio and RI related data
from government and partners
C. Training and Mentoring
·
Ensure that the following meetings hold and
provide leadership at these meetings- CGP state meetings
·
