Position: DATA CATALOGUER​
The Job
  • Implement and maintain appropriate, standard engineering consumable stores practice.
  • Catalogue all new engineering consumables in agreement with Head of Maintenance and Group cataloguer. 
  • Generate standardized templates used to guide New Data Entry. Create structured and standardized practical short descriptions.
  • Create clear, concise and complete purchasing descriptions to uniquely describe each item
  • Generate maintenance schedules in agreement with the Head of Maintenance.
  • Forecast spares requirements and keep the supply Line always in line with possible demand fo
  • spares.
The person
  • Clear understanding of engineering consumables supply line
  • Very strong  Electrical/Mechanical/Automation Engineering background
  • Clear understanding of engineering stores operation and Engineering maintenance operations
  • Very Good communication skills, oral and written skills
Qualification
  • First Degree in  Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Added advantage: Experience in the field of plant maintenance
Experience
  • 2 years field maintenance work or related post

Job Position: FITTER
The Job
  • Carry out mechanical repair and service of machines to ensure continuous operation.
  • Repair and service machines in the mills and head house to ensure continuous operation.
  • Fabricate parts needed for repair work
  • Clean machines to enhance their hygienic condition
  • Erection and Installation of machines
  • Troubleshooting
The person
  • Ability to repair and fabricate machines
  • Analytical and organising skills
  • Safety consciousness and attention to details
  • Verbal and written communication skills
Qualification
  • Trade Test 3 – Mechanical Engineering
Experience
  • 1 year cognate experience

Position: STORE KEEPER
The Job
  • To carry out all operational activities required to keep the store running, ensure that all relevant items are always available  and accurate records kept
  • Receive all stock into the store, ensuring these items are stored correctly in designated part of the store and issuing out all stock items to the requesting department for smooth running of maintenance activities
  • Request for more stock or non stock items when the number of the stock items reaches re-order level to avoid delay.
  • Generate maintenance points from maintenance data acquired from machines through the automated system to improve the quality of maintenance work

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and  IT skills
Qualification
  • OND in Engineering/Trade test certificate in fitting

Position: MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR
The Job
  • Operate the crane whenever required by any department under the supervision of the Heavy Equipment Supervisor for effective operation.
  • Report all observed maintenance and repair needs of the crane to the Heavy Equipment Supervisor to ensure that it is addressed promptly.
  • Keep the Heavy Equipment Supervisor up to date on all activities as they occur when working outside the company premises for effective supervision.

Position: WAREHOUSE MANAGER
The Job
  • Liaise with shift managers to ensure that products are appropriately transferred to the warehouse
  • Monitor the arrangement and stacking of products in the warehouse to ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Coordinate stock taking of products within the warehouse and update the stock records and accounts to reconcile possible variances
  • Ensure good working condition of all warehouse machinery and equipment
  • Ensure Discipline and adherence to  Good House Keeping Practices in the Operations of the Warehouse.
  • Coordinate and manage warehouse team effectively

Job Title: SHIFT MANAGER – POWER PLANT
The Job
  • Effectively leads operations of the systems used to generate electricity from 11000 Volts gas and diesel generators to ensure availability of stable and quality power to the plant.
  • Coordinate operational activities on installed generators and other auxiliary equipment for capacity utilization
  • Allocate and monitor staff to effect repairs, maintenance, overhaul of installed generators and other auxiliary
The person
  • Possess communication and problem-solving abilities, involving the ability to manage synchronization of 11000 Volts generators.
  • Ability to run 11000 Volts generators in most efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of 11000 Volts generator control concepts and power system protection,
  • Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays
  • Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Team oriented, adaptable and  dependable

Job Title: SHIFT MANAGER – POWER DISTRIBUTION​
The Job
  • Effectively leads operations of the systems used to deliver electricity from power plants to all load centers within the distribution network to ensure constant availability of power to the plant.
The person
  • Posses communication and problem-solving abilities, involving the ability to work cross- functionally to understand power requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.
  • knowledge of IEEE, IET, NEC, NERC and other applicable standards,
  • Good knowledge of medium voltage switchgear operations concepts and power system protection.
  • Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays
  • Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Team oriented, adaptable and  dependable
