The U.S Embassy
in Abuja is seeking to employ suitable and
qualified candidates for the following positions in the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) Nigerian Office in Abuja :
1. Senior
Program Specialist, Monitoring and Evaluation
HIV/AIDS: The incumbent will provide technical expertise to improve HIV/AIDS
prevention programs that CSC Nigeria and Federal Ministry of Health Ministry of
Health (FMOH) are collaborating throughout the country and serve as the lead
person for development of data management systems and evaluating progress in
program implementation of HIV/AIDS by applying both theoretical and practical
knowledge of health education social and behavioral science, evaluation strategies,
and evaluation activities. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). A Terminal
degree (Doctorate level e.g. PhD, DrPH, MBBS MD) is required in any of the
following disciplines: Medicine Public Health Epidemiology; Behavioral Science,
or a strongly related discipline plus knowledge in relational database and 5 years
of work experience.
2. Program
Specialist, Monitoring and Evaluation HIV/AIDS
The incumbent will provide technical expertise to HIV/AIDS prevention
programs and serve a leader for evaluating progress of HIV/AIDS program
implementation.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). A Master’s degree is
required in any of the following disciplines: Medicines Public Health;
Epidemiology, Computer Science; Behavioral Science; Applied Mathematics or a
strongly related discipline plus 5 years of work experience
