ActionAid Nigerian (AAN) is a not for profit, non-governmental entity registered with the Nigeria Corporate Affairs commission. It commenced operations in Nigeria in 1999, while the programmatic operations commenced in January 2000 through a country Agreement signed with the National planning commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

ActionAid international works in more than 40 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas.
 
AAn is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the position of HROE manager
 
Persons Specifications
Education/Qualifications
 
  • First degree in Social Sciences, Arts or Humanities is essential
  • Masters degree with specialisation in Human Resources management is essential
 
Experience
 
  • At least 8 years minimum working experience is essential
  • At least four (4) years HR/OE experience in a large organization with hands on experience in full cycle management of recruitment, performance management and other core HR/OD deliverable is essential
  • Good knowledge of National Labour laws and Employee Relations Systems is essential
 
Skills / Abilities
 
  • Excellent management & leadership skills is essential
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills are essential
  • Excellent skills in communication and report writing skills is essential
  • Excellent skills in facilitation and capacity building for inter linkages amongst staff, partners & stakeholders are essential
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills are essential
  • Ability to think strategically with strong analytical/problem solving skills is essential
  • Excellent financial skills are desirable
  • Membership of related professional institution is an added advantage
 
Personal Qualities
 
  • Demonstrable commitment to supportive team working
  • Ability to creatively take initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Effective IT skills
  • Written and Oral Communication skills
  • Willing to work additional hours at crucial times.
