Africa’s leading producer and marketer of spirits, fine wines, ciders and ready-to-drinks (RTDs), Currently employs nearly 5000 people and has an annual turnover of R15,9 billion.
Due to growth and expansion, our client is currently looking for Sales Representatives to perform the duties listed below:
Main scope of duties and responsibilities:
• Implementing sales strategies & plans in support of objectives by:
o Actively selling and promoting the company’s products
o Achieving volume and promotional targets for sales area
• Establishing and maintaining winning trading relationships by:
o Achieving and maintaining required calling frequency
o Fostering and maintaining relationships with customers
• Execution of channel distribution plans by:
o Ensuring product visibility
o Ensuring product availability
• Effective use of merchandising and promotional material by:
o Executing all promotions in line with promotional plans
• Managing company assets (stock, vehicles, equipment and other tools of the trade) by:
o Exercising control, maintaining and safeguarding of all company assets
• Practicing effective administrative and financial control by:
o Correct and timeous reporting with regard to sales; promotions; assets; claims; etc.
• Performing stand-in and other ad-hoc duties as required by Sales Manager.
Qualifications :
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
• Educated to a degree level, preferably in commercial, marketing or business studies.
• Minimum of 2 years Sales and or Marketing experience
• FMCG Background or Alcohol & Beverage Industry preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Sound business acumen and good negation skills.
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Self-confident – independent and self-reliant, assertive when necessary
• Competent in the use of MS Office suite.
• Ability to manage, develop and lead a team.
• Must be self-motivated.
