Job description
As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will manage tight deadlines and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders. You will be expected to:
Provide executive level support to the Chief Executive Officer including diary and travel management
Maintaining effective and productive working relationships with key stakeholders including, Board Members, Senior Managers and staff
Organize meetings, make appointments, organize agendas and when required, attend meetings, lead sessions and take minutes
Manage functions and events including booking venues and organizing catering
Manage special projects
Manage the implementation of any strategic activities as directed
Receive and extend hospitality to all visitors
Desired Skills and Experience
The ingredients you need to be extraordinary in this role:
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to details
A good degree in a relevant field
5 – 7 years experience
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including board members, senior management staff and external partners
Expert level written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Emotional maturity and confidence
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and process solutions
