Quality Control Officer

Purpose Statement:
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of the Merchant’s goods in and out of DealDey Warehouse.

Key Accountabilities:
To plan, manage and review quarterly the programme for all nominated Merchant product evaluations, analysing and reporting the results for the Merchants goods and inventory performance measures and making recommendations for improvements.
To manage the completion and documentation of all nominated Merchant’s’ product specifications working cohesively with the Operations & Sales Team.

To work closely with the Sales & Marketing teams to ensure Merchant’s adherence to defined product standards.
To carry out on the spot inspection of the Warehouse ensuring that Merchant goods are properly stored.
To manage the compliance of Merchants to DealDey’s specifications, standards, and procedure of operations in manner that ensures consistency of products offer.
To investigate, monitor and report all alleged tampered goods & products. Initiate immediate remedial actions, analysing and collating the findings for the Operations Manager & Security Coordinator.
To inspect Merchants goods going in and out of the Warehouse and ensure compliance to laid down policy and procedures.
Ensure compliance to Health and Safety procedures for employees and goods at the Ware house.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 3years experience in a similar position. Candidate must possess Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment. A good understanding of Ware house operations and Health & Safety Certifications would give added advantage.

Marketing Manager

Purpose Statement:
This role would ensure a marketing direction for the, growth of the DealDey brand, responsible for formulation and execution of marketing strategies necessary to drive improved brand perception, conversion rates and online revenue as well as achieving online customer acquisition numbers.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for meeting or exceeding online revenue targets and developing plans to make up for any shortfalls in revenue.
Possess clear understanding and point of view on the entire shopping experience and develop action plan to improve customer experience
Identify and document website enhancements with an understanding for the complexities and opportunities related to direct mail marketing expense.
Expand the DealDey brand frontiers across Nigeria and West Africa.
Investigate, recommend and implement new enhancements that can increase revenue, brand awareness and improve overall customer experience by analyzing the results of ongoing efforts.
Manage online customer acquisition and retention programs including SEM, SEO, email, affiliate, and social marketing.
Plan, organize and produce all e-mail campaigns, homepages and relevant creative content per the marketing calendar to drive traffic and increase conversions on the website.
Use Google Analytics and other business tracking tools to make strategic and tactical recommendations
Benchmark, measure and analyze results of online marketing initiatives such as e-mail campaigns, promotions, SEO marketing, affiliate program and future online marketing initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a graduate with University Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 5years working experience in Sales & Marketing or a similar position. An MBA would give added advantage. Candidate must possess excellent negotiation and communication skills (Written & Oral), Integrity, Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate effectively are very essential.

Inventory Analyst

Purpose Statement:
This role is responsible for developing and implementing all policies, procedures, systems and best practices with regard to inventory, for the purpose of maintaining accurate financial information.

Key Accountabilities:
Make Budgetary reports, create and handle inventory databases
Ensure Landed Costing of imported stock items
Implement improvement processes and systems to ensure optimal stock levels
Manage and maintain inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks.
Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/slow moving items to maximize availability of working capital
Providing routine management information on inventory performance
Interpret and implement significant details from reports on issues like consumer trends and spending.
Understand DealDey’s inventory situation and make recommendations to improve existing process and procedures.
Consider everything from a company's previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a University graduate or its equivalent with at least 3years experience in a similar position. Candidate must possess Ability to multi task in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe and other web analytics tools and metrics. Ability to use data to make decisions, strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with focus on flawless execution. Advanced knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Project management skills with extensive financial modelling experience in Microsoft Excel .

Warehouse Manager

Purpose Statement:

This role would manage, direct and supervise all warehouse activities on a daily basis, including the receiving, warehousing, packaging, and shipping of products consistent with superior customer service while maintaining cost objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

·        Manage the elements of the warehouse that affect the successful picking, packing and/or shipping of orders to customers in an efficient manner that is consistent with our customer service standards.

·        Responsible for the efficient and timely picking and shipping of all products to customers on a daily basis.

·        Ensures that all tools used in the picking and shipping areas are used in a safe productive manner and that the associates are sufficiently trained in order to achieve their daily goals.

·        Perform periodic inventory counts of all products in the warehouse and resolve any inventory count discrepancies.

·        Ensure the warehouse is fully capable and functional in its layout and capacity to adequately support the business needs.

·        Coordinate procurement of packing materials, warehouse supplies, and other services.

·        Maintain a complete understanding of current software systems used to pick, pack and ship orders.



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

This position requires a graduate with University Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 3years working experience in Warehouse Operations or a similar position. Candidate must possess excellent inventory control, process management and Logical thinking skills (Written & Oral), Integrity, Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate effectively are very essential.

Account Manager

Purpose Statement:
The role holder would Identify opportunities for business with existing and new customers and successfully convert such opportunities while ensuring that gross revenue targets are exceeded and gross margins are attained for all merchant products/services.

Key Accountabilities:
Cold calling for new business opportunities
Meeting and exceeding yearly/monthly/weekly/daily sales target
Perform profitability analysis for potential deals or merchants
Negotiating favorable agreement terms and closing all sales lead
Conducting periodic market survey for providing feedback on future buying trends of customers
Represent the organization at all trade related events such as fairs, exhibitions, product launch etc
Liaise with merchants/suppliers to monitor accurate delivery of orders
Advisory to management as at when needed on new product developments and special promotions
Monitor assortment of service/product deals to ensure full representation of our category offerings
Identifying new markets and opportunities for business expansion and growth
Accurate record keeping and filing of all merchant contract documents
Maintain a good working relationship with the operations unit to prevent loss of merchants inventory
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
This position requires a graduate with University Degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 2years working experience in Sales & Marketing or a similar position. Ability to meet and exceed revenue targets with proven track records. Candidate must possess excellent negotiation and communication skills (Written & Oral), Integrity, Ability to plan, Good understanding of the principles of conversion, ROI and financial metrics associated with online advertising and online partnerships are very essential.
