Job description

Responsible for developing and maintaining trade marketing and distribution plans which meets the objectives of the regional trade marketing and distribution plan and is in line with brand strategy, sales fundamentals and the needs of the trade

Responsible for developing marketing programs targeted to retailers, wholesalers and distributors that resell company's products to consumers
Coordinate and implement marketing programs that increase company’s brand presence and market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
 Works closely with the sales team to ensure that trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets.
Ensure distributors/dealers delivers stock and readily available for the consumer across the geographies
To ensure that a retailer promotes a company's product against competitors by marketing its product to the retailers as well using effective marketing strategies.
Delivery sales volume and value by supporting sales forces with well-designed fundamental enhancement plans.
Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration and preferably MBA or post graduate qualifications.
10 years experience in a similar position especially in a trade marketing role
Thorough industry knowledge of trade channels indigenous level is required
Relevant Trade marketing experience in FMCG is needed
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and execute marketing programs from start to completion
Fluency in English and knowledge of foreign language is an added advantage
Energetic, organized and business driven approach is required
Good team leadership and decision skills required
