Head of Retail – Banking Officer – Assistant Manager
Job Objective:
The incumbent is responsible for driving the Retail Banking strategy of the bank towards acquiring and retaining customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of retail accounts through client acquisition, cross-selling and referrals.
Collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and retail strategy is identified for the customer whilst minimizing all potential risks to the bank.
Strategically grow the retail business through product volume, new customer acquisition and increasing the number of products held per customer.

Head, Commercial Banking – Banking Officer – Assistant Manager
Job Objective: The Head of Commercial Banking will be responsible for building and leading a high performance team of Relationship Managers to acquire and maintain customers in the Small and Medium Scale enterprises.
Responsibilities:
Manage, retain and further develop advocacy and profitability across client relationships within a portfolio of diverse commercial banking clients
Identify, engage, win and diligently on-board, new clients within the business’ defined markets, jointly contributing to the profitability of the bank
Promote and deliver tailored financial solutions to clients via partnership with, and coordination of, all product and service teams across the bank to optimise outcomes.

Job Objective: The main objective of this role is to identify opportunities to support the growth and expansion of corporate businesses, deepen banking relationship with the customer and in the process generate profit for the Bank.
Responsibilities:
Originate, maintain and develop relationships in the corporate market within the location.
Manage risk asset portfolio within parameters provided by Credit risk management unit.
Negotiate terms and conditions and prepare credit applications for new loan facilities for Corporate Banking clients
Present and defend Corporate Banking credit applications in the Credit Committee

Implement Standard Operating Procedure in Funds Transfer unit.
Process monitoring for continuous improvement
 Ensure adherence to SLA for processing of non-STP incoming and outgoing payments.

Cash/ Cheque Teller – Executive Trainee/Assistant Banking Officer
Job Objective: Responsible for cash/ cheque transactions in compliance with bank procedures.
Responsibilities:
Cash cheques and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds.
Receive cheques and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
Enter customers' transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
Balance currency, coin, and cheques in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
Examine cheques for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents.
Count currency, coins, and cheques received, by hand or using currency-counting machine, to prepare them for deposit or shipment to branch banks or the Federal Reserve Bank.

Identify, measure and control the bank’s operational risk.
Responsibilities:
Manage and develop a comprehensive process for assessing, identifying and reducing pertinent business risks that could interfere with the bank’s objectives and goals according to Basel I and Basel II requirements.
To ensure that the bank is in substantial compliance with its operating policies and procedures and any external legal, regulatory or contractual requirements.
Set objectives for measuring, monitoring, evaluating and mitigating the risk exposure of the bank and ensure that they are reported in a timely manner to regulatory entities and the management of the Bank.
Recommend and maintain proper approval processes for all transaction types to ensure proper risk control.


HEAD, LEGAL - (AGM-GM)
Job Objectives:
Ensure compliance of the bank with all statutory, Legal and regulatory requirements in the jurisdiction, including filings and regulatory disclosures
Responsibilities:
Providing preliminary advice and recommendations pertaining to legal, regulatory, and governance issues and practices related to the Bank.
Ensuring that corporate information disclosure and related regulatory filings are in accordance with laws and regulations and the Bank’s Disclosure Policy.
Ensure that the engagement of external legal counsel is appropriate, effective and coordinated so as to minimize costs.
 Drafting and vetting of Legal documents/contracts for the Bank and ensuring maximum protection for the Bank by identifying legal Weakness actual or potential liability.
Advise business units on legal matters and rendering legal opinions.
Provide guidance on the proper application and interpretation of laws and regulations applicable to the businesses

SEGMENT HEADS –CORPORATE BANKING - (AGM-GM)
Job Objectives:
To plan and manage all activities relating to the Corporate Banking Segment through the development and execution of a strategy that ensures maximum growth, market share and profitability for the segment.
Responsibilities:
Align with product management team (Product Managers) in utilizing available products in targeted segment and agree on segment product needs.
Provide support in ensuring an effective products pricing framework for the segment
Oversee the segment budgeting process and periodic preparation of performance reports/analytics as a key basis for decision making for the segment
Provide support in planning, defining, deploying and tracking/measuring impact of segment marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.


FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - (AM - DM)
Job Objectives: Partner with income generating units to provide advice on the businesses they bring to the bank based on financial analysis of the sector or the customer to guide them in making a appropriate business decision. Credit & marketing experience, MIS, and Finance is required for this role.
Responsibilities:
Explain, present and analyze the financial performance of the bank.
Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate the long-term financial planning process and develop metrics to monitor the performance against strategic objectives.
Deliver timely financial analytics and business counsel to effectively measure business performance against strategic priorities.
Support an efficient and effective long-term planning and forecasting process that produces accurate, achievable plans and forecasts that align with business’s strategic objectives.
Continuously improve bank’s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by leading internal change initiatives.


HEAD, STRESSED ASSETS - (AGM-GM)
Job Objectives:
Recovering and managing the bank’s stressed asset portfolio by active engagement with all concerned stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of stressed assets which would require engagement in client negotiations and recovery of overdue accounts according to the bank’s policies.
Strengthen collateral position of the bank, prepare and present credit restructuring proposals for management approval.
Engage internal and external auditors in impairment assessment discussions.
Establish and implement a review mechanism to monitor existing loans and in turn business performance
Complete due diligence, internal risk clearance and committee approvals of credit proposals
Limit amount of provisioning required for stressed assets by articulating effective loan recovery strategies.


HEAD, RISK STRATEGY AND PLANNING - (AGM-GM)
Job Objectives:
Develop effective strategies to protect the bank’s assets, people and brand from undue losses or to mitigate the effect of any such loss.
