The job

The role of the chief operating officer is to manage the company’s proprietary investments, deal sourcing, execution and management of investments, identifying viable investment opportunities, project evaluation, and attraction of funding: debt/equity to support projects.

The following are the job activities:

·         Strategy development and follow-on implementation

·         Providing ongoing financial advice and assistance in fund raising

·         Overseeing the operations of company’s hospitality businesses and infrastructure projects.

·         Formulate investment strategy for target industries.

·         Prepare and render management report to the company on monthly basis

The candidate

·         Minimum of first degree in engineering/social sciences field from a reputable university ( second degree will be added advantage)

·         Minimum of seven years hands on experience with the financial services sector: an investment analyst with private equity/venture capital background

·         Relevant post graduate training and qualification(certification/membership of professional bodies)

·         Proven ability to pre- identify liquidity and exit options prior to completing investment.

·         Track record of successes in achieving liquidity and exit target for portfolio companies

·         Ability to agree rate of returns on investment

·         Sound knowledge of the economy and opportunities

·         Good project evaluation, real estate/infrastructure development experience

·         Excellent communication skill (verbal and written) skills.

·         Good inter personal skills.

·         Good industry knowledge especially in Lagos terrain.

·         Highly proficient in Microsoft presentation and report packages.

·         Grounded experience in dealing/ liaising thirds party contractors to ensure quality service on schedule.

Head Corporate finance      ref: Cf2

The job

The role of head corporate finance department is to advice companies, institutions and governments on how to achieve their financial goals and implement long and short tern financial plans. She/ he will report to the group head/ investment banking

The following are the job activities:

·         Financial model development, valuation, bench marking and client material preparation.

·         Manage due diligence process.

·         Participate in transaction structuring and negotiation process.

·         Design business strategies and prepare business development materials.

·         Financial restructuring and corporate reorganization.

·         Merger, acquisition and divestitures financing, process management and advisory.

The candidate

·         Minimum of first degree in any management or social sciences field from a reputable university ( second degree will be added advantage)

·         Minimum of five years of recent investment banking experience in related role.

·         Relevant post graduate training and qualification(certification/membership of professional bodies)

·         Excellent understanding and knowledge of financial valuation concept.

The job

The role of the head of structured finance is to advise and develop products for companies with very unique financing needs. She/he will report to the group head, investment banking.

The following are job activities:

·          Organization and structuring of debt capital market transaction (loans and bonds)

·         Developing strategic approach to strengthen existing funding sources as well as building new ones

·         Negotiating and arranging new primary bond issues, loans (both syndicated and non syndicated)

·         Review transaction documentation

The Candidate:

·         Minimum of first degree in any management or Social Sciences fields from a reputable university  ( second degree will be added advantage)

·         Minimum of five years of recent investment banking experience in related role.

·         Relevant post graduate training and qualification(certification/membership of professional bodies)

The Job

The role of the CEO, Asset Management involves provision of effective leadership to our Asset Management team to deliver high quality client-driven responsive services the support the vision and aspiration of all stake holders.

The following are job activities;

·         Develop and implement a clear strategic direction for the subsidiary

·         Maintain a thorough understanding of all factors affecting the business terrain associated with each portfolio

·         Assessing, developing and implementing value enhancement opportunities for the portfolio including focus and understanding of all types of capital project.

The candidate

·         Minimum of first degree in Engineering/Social Sciences field from a reputable university ( second degree will be added advantage)
