PURPOSE OF THE SITUATION
Driving sales growth through direct and indirect sales channel Gilbarco Veeder Root and key customers in Nigeria.
Support and cooperate with land managers and product managers to drive initiatives across sales channels .
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with high commitment distributors GVR by understanding their market conditions and business objectives .
Making a plan of action and frequent sales metric GVR comments with channel partners to enable effective measurement of success and the team focuses on the GVR sales growth and excellent customer service .
Motivate distributors to effective management systems and incentive programs ( bonus systems , marketing support , free training, etc. )
Provide advice to GVR territory / country managers on sales distribution .
Continually assess channel strategies and partner selection for each market ( current partners more development and recruiting new ones if necessary).
Ensure prompt and timely negotiations for the renewal of contract / compliance agreements with existing partners , and even the addition of new partners GVR .
Drive and maintain full compliance with the policies of Danaher and relevant for channel management international law, in particular export controls and anti- corruption laws , through Gilbarco Veeder -Root MEA
The retail marketing support and training for the ME region ( including donor conference rooms and MEA countries)
Collaborate with marketing GVR and product managers to develop marketing initiatives to the needs of distributors , especially extranet distributor, sales and technical training activities , marketing materials, payment terms, and distributor newsletter regular information.
Regional Territory Manager to help drive sales efforts in key accounts and independent retailers in key fuel and commercial customers.
RELATIONSHIP:
Reports in Nigeria Country Manager with a dotted line to the Director MEA distribution
Cooperates with and supports the automation Director MEA and director Veeder BD .
Interacts with the leaders of all major channel partners and their customers GVR
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS
Master of Business Administration ( preferred) or a comparable degree
At least five years in sales management environment and strategy , with experience in Nigeria. Preferably 2-3 years of experience in managing indirect sales channels
Clear concept of culture needed to build an organization of highly developed indirect sales , with the motivation and ability to build and lead partners to increase sales
Fluency in English to the extent that complex negotiations can be controlled
Extremely well organized and structured
Well spoken , at ease in social situations , good manners , professional appearance
PERSONAL TRAIT PROFILE
Strategic thinker , capable of forming a vision / path and lead the organization towards her
Leader, but also able to work in a team and have a buy-in group
Well structured and organized , focusing on the critical few .
Hungry for business: strong growth orientation / completion
Energetic, bright, and articulate with good communication skills and presentation
Commercially astute with an ability to spot an opportunity
