International NGO recruiting in 2 positions

Vacancy Announcement
A reputable International NGO that supports the building of electoral democracies with support from USAID seeks qualified applicants to fill the following vacancies in its Abuja office.
Program/M&E Officer
Responsible for coordinating and evaluation of program activities; guiding the development, revision and approval of the M&E plan; and ensuring regular collection, compilation, and reporting of accurate indicator data. Assist in the development of the program narrative reports.
Qualification and Experience
·         Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Demographics, Public Policy, International Development, Economics and related field.

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in the monitoring and evaluation of international Democracy Governance development project activities.
·         Demonstrated capacity to implement M&E activities, conduct research, analyze data and manage/use database is required
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
·         Computer proficiency in Microsoft
Program Assistant
Responsible for assisting in organizing and coordinating program activities, contributing to reports and performing other programmatic duties as required. Assist in the development of program narrative reports. Take minutes of program meetings. Serve as rapporteur for program events, workshops and conferences. Assist in the collection of data for monitoring and evaluation of activities.
Qualification s and Experience
·         Bachelor degree in governance, development or any social sciences.
·         Minimum of 2 years experience in program management preferably on a democracy and governance project.
·         Training experience including material development design and implementation of training activities.
·         Computer proficiency in Microsoft
·         Good writing skills
Driver (1)
Ensuring provision of reliable and secure driving services in driving office vehicles to transport project personnel
 Receiving personnel, visitors at the airport.  Maintaining the condition of vehicles on a day-to-day basis
Qualifications and Experience
·         At least 12 years work experience in a similar position with at least 5 years driving in Abuja
·         Must be familiar with roads within the entire country
·         Possess a valid Driver’s License
Intern (1) - (9 Months)
Responsible for assisting the program team research and extract news information for reports. Assist with event preparation by providing administrative and logistics assistance.
Qualifications and Experience
·         Bachelor degree in any relevant field
·         At least one year working experience (National Youth Service will suffice)
·         Computer proficiency in Microsoft
