Job Title
Carrier Relations Coordinator

Job Description:
Research prospective national interconnect carrier relationships to determine viability of relationship for MTNN
Facilitate and coordinate the technical aspects of national interconnect between MTNN and other national operators.


Negotiate with new technical partners other networks to reach agreement on interconnect issues.
Facilitate and supervise technical projects in line with agreement with interconnect partner.
Coordinate MTNN technical personnel concerning connection of interconnect partners with MTNN.
Collect and interpret data on the dimension of air traffic between MTNN and the various operators
Monitor data on call traffic from and to each network.
Recommend and implement necessary adjustments and assign appropriate switches based on the information on traffic
Anticipate and document possible problems from call data information and map out strategies for mitigating related risks.
Design necessary programs for the switch based on agreements with interconnect partners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with interconnect carrier partners.

Job Conditions:     Normal MTNN working conditions. National travel and a valid drivers license. On stand by 24 7 through out the year.
Reporting To:     Senior Manager Interconnect Carrier Relations

Required Skills:
A Bachelors degree in the Sciences preferably in Engineering
Four years hands on experience in switching and transmission in the telecoms environment
Experience and comprehension of Telecommunications management network philosophy and practice

Employment Status :
Permanent

A Bachelors degree in the Sciences preferably in Engineering.
