Job Title:
Field Support Engineer
Location:
Lagos State


This position requires an experienced Microwave & Fiber Engineer/Technologist. The applicant needs to be technical by nature, good with their hands, able to install wireless metro Ethernet equipment and support a client base of new and existing clients nationally. They must have demonstrable knowledge of Metro Ethernet technology and practices.
Responsibilities:

·         Conduct accurate and concise site surveys (MW & Fiber)
·         Generate site operational reports
·         Customer site installation, configuration and set-up
·         Day to day administration on wireless and fiber network
Qualifications, Skills  & Competencies:
·         Demonstrable equipment knowledge on RAD, OSN, Ceragon and Dragon Wave
·         Able to sufficiently complete efficient equipment alignment
·         Demonstrable understanding of Basic to Advanced Networking TCP/IP, UDP
·         2 to 3 years’ hands on experience
·         Excellent planning and organizational skills (self-managing)
·         Hardware and software troubleshooting
·         Hardware and software installation
·         Remote monitoring of Metro Ethernet systems and applications
·         Remote support of users and hardware
·         BSC/HND in Electrical & Electronics or Computer Engineering
