General Business Insurance firm recruiting RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

VACANCY
Our company is one of the foremost General Business Insurance firms in the country and seeks to engage the services of a RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER with the following attributes.
EDUCATION
BSc/HND degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, social sciences or other relevant discipline Demonstrate sound education within the context of research and data management.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

·         At least 3 years relevant experience in research
·         Proven track record of design, delivering and completing research projects for practical business application,
·         Proven track record of analysing and writing up research
SKILLS
·         Competence in applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods
·         Experience using statistical packages, models.
·         Knowledge and skill in word processing, data entry and data analysis, as well as demonstrated computer aptitude and experience.
·         Strong skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
·         Creativity in finding solutions to real business issues.
COMMUNICATION
·         Impeccable oral and written communication skills
·         Excellent writing skills for research appears as well as mass publications, printed and digital
·         Proven networking skills
APPROACH AND PRESENTATION
·         Ability to generate good will and establish positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, collaborators, colleagues
·         Ability to manage parallel tasks and deliver on time to meet internal and external deadlines
