LEGAL OFFICER
Qualification/Requirements:
• Must have graduated from an accredited university and from law school.
• LLB, BL degree
• 3 years post call to bar experience
• Age between 35-40 years
• NYSC discharge certificate.
• A member of Nigeria Bar Association
• Must be computer literate
• Ability to interact with various levels from staff to management
• Ability to partner with and influence others to drive process changes
• Strong analytical skills to form objective conclusions
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on courses of action
• Solid business judgment critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong work ethic characterized by high integrity and professionalism
Relevance (Key Responsibilities)
• Review legal agreements for department heads and provide feedback.
• Management internal legal records
• Facilitate lawsuits externally and internally by documenting potential claims issue
• Interface with external legal counsel
• Manage law enforcement issues and serve as the point of contact for all law enforcement matters.
• Keep abreast of pertinent legal and regulatory developments, laws and regulations
• Interface with regulatory authorities over compliance issues
