|
1.
The Technical
Officer Laboratory Services will
liaise with the Program Coordinator and the laboratory team at the Country
Office and at the zones to provide technical support and implement high quality
laboratory services within the states for FHI Nigeria programs, including
adherence to relevant professional standards and guidelines, and involvement
with laboratory clinical governance issues and audit.
She/ He will
corporate and maintain oversight of the day to day operations of all laboratory
services at the state level, and will give technical support on the
implementation, monitoring and quality assurance of laboratory services for
HIV/AIDS, opportunistic infections and malaria care and treatment in
collaboration with technical staff within FHI at state and logical agencies in Nigeria .
Minimum Recruitment
Standards:
·
BSc in Laboratory sciences or related field with
5-7yrs post NYSC experience, with a minimum of 3yrs exposure in the provision
of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
·
MSc in Laboratory sciences or related field with 3-5yrs post NYSC
experience, with a minimum of 3yrs exposure in the provision of laboratory
support for HIV/AIDS
·
Expertise in hematology, TB and blood safety
issues will be an added advantage.
·
Familiarity with the Nigerian public sector
health, NGOs or CBOs is highly desirable.
2. The
Technical Officer, Prevention and
Mitigation will assist in the provision of technical support to the
implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation activities at the state
level. This include supporting the implementation of prevention activities
(sexual and biomedical) and strategic behavior change interventions, testing
and counseling, home based care, orphans and vulnerable children and other
community mobilization activities.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·
MB.BS/MD/PHD with 1 to 3yrs public health
experience.
·
MPH or MSc in relevant degree with 3-5yrs public
health experience.
·
BSc in Pharmacy, Microbiology, Health sciences,
or other related relevant degree with 5 to 7yrs public health experience.
·
Demonstrable experience in large and complex
SBC/BCC mobilization activities in a donor (USAID, DFID, CIDA, etc.) funded
national health focused project.
·
HCT experience and ability to understand full
range of issues around HCT.
·
Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health
systems and NGOs CBOs is highly desirable.
3. The
Senior Accountant will provide accounting and financial support to the FHI
360 Nigeria Country Office. He/ She will ensure that financial accounting and
management practices and procedures in assigned projects are consistent with
those of FHI 360 and the respective
donors, as well as perform appropriate payment previews to ensure that they are
adequately supported, allocated, valid and in compliance with FHI 360 and the
specific donor rules and regulations amongst other functions.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·
BSc in Accounting, Finance and Business
Administration or recognized equivalents with 5-7yrs relevant experience.
·
MSc in Accounting, Finance and Business
Administration with 3-5yrs relevant experience.
·
Minimum of 3yrs supervisory experience in office
management and administration.
·
CPA, ACA, ICAN, CIMA, CFE or any other relevant
professional qualification is required.
·
Experience
in managing financial records of donor-funded organizations, and familiarity
with donor and local contractual procedures is an advantage.
4. The
Program Officer under the supervision of the Senior Program Officer
performs functions related to planning, designing, implementation, monitoring, and
evaluation and reporting of activities under assigned portfolios in FHI
Nigeria. She/ He will assist the SPO in strengthening systems for reporting on
program progress against stated objectives and monitoring and evaluation of
frameworks, according to FHI and the respective donor guideline.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·
BSc in public health or behavioral sciences with
a minimum of 5-7yrs experience in international health or development,
including 3-5yrs experience in HIV/AIDS programming.
·
Experience working with NGOs and CBOs is
required.
·
Candidates with experience working with Global
Fund Projects will have an added advantage.
