DESIGN ARCHITECTS
• 5-10 years experience
• Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
• Consult with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
• Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
• Plan layout of project
• Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
• Prepare scale drawings.
• Integrate engineering element into unified design.
• Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Administer construction contracts.
CIVIL / STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS
• Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience including design of roads and buildings.
• Soil and Foundation Engineering.
• Layout and details portions of projects using schematic layout.
• Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
• Review shop drawings.
• Develop probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the department.
• May direct and supervise other Designers/Drafters activities.
• Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
• Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.
• Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
• Prepare specifications.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations.
• Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational safety standards.
INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERS
• Field Instrumentation – pressure, temperature, flow, level
• Instrumentation/equipment for use in hazardous areas
• Control valves, shutdown valves, choke valves
• Emergency/process shutdown systems
• Fire and gas systems
• Metering systems
• Package vendor interface management
AUTOMATION ENGINEERS
• Experience in the design and installation of automated systems.
HAVC ENGINEERS
• HAVC engineers with significant experience in the design and testing of air conditioning, ventilation and heating equipment. Expertise and ability to test for load and energy consumption perform mechanical calculations and develop requirements.
PIPING- BUILDING
• Ability to design piping layout of multistoried buildings, offices, and hospitals. Supervise plumbers and technicians during installation of building pipes and fixtures.
• Conversant with engineering design office practices and procedures; have a working knowledge of CAD and preferable PDMS.
• Ensure that all produced documents and drawings are in accordance with project procedures.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
• Schedule projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
• Direct and supervise workers.
• Study specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project, such as painting or plumbing.
