A fast growing shipping and logistics company is seeking vibrant, energetic and creative individual to take up the position of:
Personal Assistant / Secretary to the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer.
Job Description:
• Ensure proper documentation, filling, storage and retrieval of documents
• Manage visitors and customers to the office of the Managing Director
• Receive and dispatch mails to and from the office of the Managing Director
• Manage equipment, stationeries and assets deployed for use at the office
• Receive and make telephone calls on behalf of the MD in line with best practice
• Type and process documents as required
• Arrange tea/coffee/snacks for official guests as may be directed from time to time
• Deliver and receive message on behalf of the MD and other management staff
• Represent the MD at events as may be directed from time to time
• Prepare and present assigned reports promptly and accurately
• Any other duties as may be assigned
Person Specification
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor of Science or Art degree in Humanities/Social Sciences
• Excellent computer application skills, particularly in MS word, power – point and excel
• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in related roles
• Possession of excellent working knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics business will be an advantage
• Not more than 40 years old.
