The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria: PROCUREMENT/CONTRACT SPECIALIST

The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria has a 5-year Cooperative Agreement with the United States Government Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) for the purpose of mentoring all tiers of Nigeria’s Public Laboratory System to advance them towards National Accreditation under PEPFAR by Council


MLSCN is therefore recruiting senior-level managers and technical experts to provide services towards driving continuing quality improvement of public health laboratories for national accreditation.

JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT/CONTRACT SPECIALIST

S/he will develop policies and strategies related to procuring supplies and services in accordance with ICDC budget guidelines and other procurement policy of Government of Nigeria. Develop contracting
arrangements with selected vendors which meet the CDC project criteria and standards. Collate specifications required for various supplies and make them available to suppliers. Ensure that all procurement in the project is carried out in a timely and efficient manner and in compliance with CDC guidelines.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
University Degree or HND in Business Administration, Accountancy, Social Sciences or related fields with five years cognate experience in similar positions.
