Job Vacancies in Offshore Vessels & Jack-Up Barges


Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested persons to fill vacancies in a reputable Marine Company operating in Offshore West and Central Africa.

The positions and minimum qualifications required are listed below:

Master (Not more than 45 years of age)

    * Certificate of Competence – Chief Mate <3000 GRT NCV/Master<500 GRT NCV
    * Discharge Book- With evidence of 70 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master

    * Valid International Passport
    * Valid Mandatory Certificates
    * Advanced Medical Certificates
    * Medical First Aid Certificate
    * Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage

Mate (Not more than 40 years of age)

    * Certificate of Competency- OOW (Deck) <3000 GRT NCV
    * Discharge Book- With evidence of 50 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master
    * Valid International Passport
    * Valid Mandatory Certificates
    * Advanced Medical Certificates
    * Medical First Aid Certificate
    * Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage

Engineer (Not more than 40 years of age)

    * Certificate of Competence – OOW (Engine) < 3000 GRT NCV
    * Discharge Book- With evidence of 50 months cumulative sea time recorded and stamped by the Shipping Master
    * Valid International Passport
    * Valid Mandatory Certificates
    * Advanced Medical Certificates
    * Medical First Aid Certificate
    * Knowledge of Hydraulic Crane is an added advantage

All interested persons must have basic knowledge of English Language, Writing and Arithmetic skills and School Certificate with not less than 4 credit passes within a maximum of 2 sittings. Applicants must b e able to work with minimum supervision, possess leadership and effective communication skills and be prepared to work unpredictable hours in unpredictable waters.
