Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions as stated below:

MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (Code 001)

Applications are invited from candidates for post of Management trainees in Computer Resource Centre (CRC). The candidate is required to play leadership role in developing, providing, integrating and supporting information technology based solutions and systems. The candidate must be a highly experienced IT professional who has a broad knowledge of multiple software and instructional/media technology applications, database systems and sources, and equipment types. Additionally, he must be conversant with the use and deployment of E-Learning platforms.


QUALIFICATION
• Candidate must possess a good first degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or any other related field from a reputable University. Professional IT certificate will be an advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to the General Manager for
• Sourcing and upgrading the hardware and software requirements in line with the latest and best technology in computing.
• Facilitate the procurement and installation of all hardware and software in the centre.
• Possess excellent networking skills and experience for developing strong industries linkages for training, placements and projects.

EXPERIENCE
• Have a minimum of 2-5 years cognate working experience in Computer Applications/IT with good understanding of Network/Internet WAN Technology and competence in handling large computer systems in analysis and design.

CURATOR/CATALOGUER (Code 002)
• BSc or Msc in Museum Science, Curator Studies or Library Science required and a minimum of 3 years work experience in a research museum, gallery or library environment.
• Certificate in computer and an experiential knowledge of the ICT environment
• Experience in managing collections, records, antiquarian items, and catalogues.
• Basic knowledge of library systems and catalog digitization
• Experience in a supervisory and project management role is added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organizing and building contact and client databases
• Press relation and researching of new ways to promote the gallery
• Organizing and handling presentation of gallery exhibitions
• Socializing with exhibition visitors and informing and educating them on exhibition.

KEY PERSONAL QUALITIES
• Excellent ICT skills
• Out-going personality
• Work-driven and sales-focused .Self-motivated and team player
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of other languages added advantage

TOUR GUIDES (Code 003)
• Possession of B.A History with a minimum of 2 years experience in a reputable organization.
• Good interpersonal relation
• Must be confident and have an excellent command of English.

ACCOUNTING MANAGERS (Code 004)
The ideal candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications and attributes.
• B.Sc in Accounting
• Professional membership of Chartered Institute of Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN or MBA) with not less than 4 years post qualification experience.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Good managerial skills and ability to work independently
• Sound knowledge required to handle group accounts.

AUDIT MANAGERS (Code 005)
• Qualifications and attributes same as Accounts Managers
• Must have required knowledge to handle group audit

ACCOUNT OFFICERS (Code 006)
• Possession of B.Sc in Accountancy with a minimum of 2 years experience in a reputable organisation.

RESIDENT AUDITORS (Code 007)
• Applicants with analytical and investigative skills with B.Sc in Accountancy and a minimum of 4 years experience in a reputable organisation.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER ENGINEERS AND NETWORK TECHNICIANS (Code 008)

QUALIFICATION
• B.Sc in Computer Engineering/Electronics Engineering
• CCNA preferable or
• B.Sc in computer Engineering Technology

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Ability to work on various computer packages
• Conversant with computer soft and hardwares
• Considerable experience in IT network internet and intra-net
• Ability to work with sage package would be an advantage
