SPF Administrator
Position Summary:
Job Summary:
· Coordinate administrative logistical support such as flight, ID cards, marine and vehicle bookings to support operations, helicopter bookings.
· Develop and maintain databases supporting security management activities.
· Prepare and control documentation required to obtain equipment and services in support of operations.
· Responsible for the compilation of rosters, returns and documents associated with operations.
· Ensure that established guidelines are followed in regards to the administrative control and procedures.
· Control files and correspondence in circulation; picking up, delivering and sorting mail.
· Establish and maintain an inventory of all office equipment.
Carry out any other task, which may be assigned by the Field Office Manager.

Design, develop and test various reports with VBA
Maintain connectivity between desktop clients and SPF server
Install SPF on clients and set up new users’ profiles
Troubleshoot user related issues with a view to resolving same with downtimes
Monitor the SPF server performance and resolve errors recorded in event viewer
Business and schema objects configurations and modifications
Perform other roles as defined by SPF
Perform monitoring and tuning of Oracle database including backup and disaster recovery
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Job Specific Knowledge:
VBA programming experience is indispensable; Must have had verifiable experience with hard-coding VBA scripts in both development and production environments
Familiarity with RDBMS with emphasis on Oracle 10g database is a requirement
Experience in the development of Client-Server, Multi-tier applications is a necessity
Adequate versed with HTML, ODBC and XML language
Skills in Java servelets, JavaScript, JDBC is an advantage
Script automation, debugging and enhancing application will aid in fixing connectivity issues
Expert knowledge of general document control and business processes
Other Skills
Industry Specific Experience: 3- 4 years relevant experience Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Good knowledge of English, written and oral. PC knowledge expected, Microsoft Widows suite of programmes
