The Job:

Role Summary/Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and testing Controls Subsea Controls Modules. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning

Qualifications/Requirements
- First degree in Engineering
- NVQ would also be desirable in a Engineering, Electrical of Hydraulics subject
- Should be fluent in English and able to read and understand procedures and technical drawings
Essential Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, install/commission and test controls equipment such as SCM, WCU,IWOCS reels, Chokes etc
- Act as the Lead technical supervisor for GEIS activities supporting Subsea Control Equipment specifically Subsea Control Modules
- Coordinate work delivery with customer personnel
- Train EIS and contract personnel as required
- Establish appropriate procedures and specifications to govern work quality and compliance
- Recommend purchase of specific equipment required to carry out work on Subsea Control equipment
- Provide cost estimating and technical information in support of proposals
- Conduct field inspections and supervise technicians on field inspection projects
- Support other Subsea projects as required
