Job Description
The suitable candidate‘s core responsibility will be to effectively manage the Corporate Resource Function of the company. This function oversees the agency’s Human resource, Administration and Logistics & procurement functions.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the evaluation and development of strategies for the departments that will ensure an alignment with the Company’s vision and business strategies
* Ensure strategic goals in core areas of responsibilities are achieved in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner
* Manage and control all procurement and logistics requirement of the business within agreed budgets
* Ensure adequate resourcing of the Corporate Resources department in terms of people, processes and systems
* Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring the effectiveness of human resources, facility management , logistics and procurement
* Institute and coordinate the implementation of rules and regulations in relation to people management, facility management and procurement within the Company
Qualifications and Experience
* A good first degree in the Social Sciences. Membership of the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) or an Msc. / MBA will be an added advantage
* At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in at least two of these areas: Human Resource Management, Facilities Management and /or Logistics and Procurement management
* Excellent capacity to set and revise the objectives of a unit to focus on priorities and evaluate procedural duties
* Good knowledge of labour law and procurement strategies &/or systems
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Detail oriented, good organisational and presentation skills
